the Kindness of Strangers
recently met some folks near Granite Lake (in the vicinity of McCall, Idaho) who were kind enough to give me a 7 mile hitch during a tough day. thanks to Hal and Marguerite and their pup, Orley
2012 hiking
211 miles of hiking trails so far this year. 753 total miles of walking so far this year. from the southern desert of Idaho, to the mountains of the Gospel Hump Wilderness, Hell's Canyon, Loon Lake, and the Weiser River Trail, I have gotten to re-visit some places I enjoyed during my ICT hike across Idaho. hopefully more to come.....

Up the creek without a tent pole
